The Reputation Premium

The August 4th issue of The Economist wisely sums up the criticism about Rupert Murdoch’s acquisition of the Wall Street Journal.
“If Mr. Murdoch degrades the Journal, he will be destroying the very thing for which he is paying such a premium–the paper’s reputation.”

Simply said and the simple truth.

Reputation is immeasurable.
