Telling your CEO story your way

Heard about this site that Republican presidential hopeful Carly Fiorina launched. It is titled FromSecretarytoCEO. It is one way to control your narrative. She uses quotes from prior jobs and media coverage to persuade visitors that she has the chops to run the nation. And she invites people to tell about their experiences working with her. It is the American dream to run for president so here’s her take. A twist on the Horatio Alger story of rags to riches. Although I sincerely doubt that CEOs of companies today would follow suit here, it constitutes a storyline about building reputation and being a social CEO. (I know she is no longer a CEO but she’s running on her record as a former CEO.)
